Let Your Imagination Grow....

At The Fabelist we produce multi-disciplinary work through a unique mentoring system of artists working with and for artists.

In our ‘A Story A Day’ pop up events we allow children and redeveloping communities a method of engaging their imaginations in a completely unique way.



We advocate education through visual and written fable weaving; working towards both individual and communal goals.


Our writers initially work with each child, or individual, to create characters, a setting and, a plot line. Which, they then weave into a coherent narrative.

Our visual artists bring the story to life with illustrations and collages, inviting the budding story teller to participate and, to discover new skills.


We will also, often have performance artists on hand, responding to your stories and, furthering each individuals ability to engage with the creative process.


In this way, we encourage the embracing of art and literature as collaborative practices and encourage the sharing of different skills and knowledge.

The finished story can be taken home as inspiration to carry on the story telling. In each instance we seek to illustrate the bonding and educative capabilities of art by introducing new methods of making imaginative expression accessible for EVERYONE.
